Dating referrers top
Hover your cursor over the pie chart slices to highlight one of the top ten referrers in the list to the right of the pie chart.
The referrers display their percentage of page views by visitors they sent to your site in a given time period.
Everything from how visitors make it to your site to what is the most popular content can help you to draw more visitors. Knowing where people are coming from to get to your site can help you learn a little bit more about your site visitors.
And if you promote your site on other websites, you can see whether your efforts are paying off.
The first ten referrers will be the same as the referrers in the pie chart.
At the top of the page is a pie chart, with the total number of page views below the pie chart.Page Views: Tracks HTTP server requests to your datasets, via in a web browser or accessed through the API. The bolded number is the total for your site since it was created, and will not change based on the date range selected.The number in red or green is the total page views for the date range, exclusive of API calls.The originating site is called a “referrer” because it refers traffic from one place to the next.Referral traffic is one of three statistics tracked by Google Analytics.
